Believe it or not this actually is a true story…

Only the other night a copper stopped a driver in Milton Keynes and got a surprise when he was handed the driver’s licence

It really wasn’t the best choice of fake licence to have though…

The name was H. Simpson, and the address was 28, Springfield Way, USA and it came complete with a photo of our favourite yellow cartoon character Dad

Thames Valley Police said in a tweet: “Earlier this week, PC Phillips stopped a car in Milton Keynes.”When she tried to identify the driver’s ID, she found the below… (pictured licence).”

Replying to the tweet, Mark Chunder wrote: “Clearly a fake. Homer lives at 742 Evergreen Terrace.”Paul Middleton said: “Marg….inal offence I would say.”
