I failed to achieve my 90-day goal :(
But I’m not worrying
Here’s why…
I set myself something that was a bit of a stretch to say the least
To be able to perform 60 push-ups in one hit
And for a skinny fella like me that it asking a lot
But even though I failed to achieve this goal…
(Miserably I must add)
I did achieve a hell of a lot though
– I barely missed a training session
– I stripped some body fat and lost a few kg
– I massively improved my sleeping habits
– I consistently tracked and hit my calorie targets
– I got back into regular meditation
However the thing that caused me to not hit my goal…
(or at least get a bit closer to it)
Was my PROGRAMMING
I was simply not doing enough of what I needed to do to hit my goal
My training lacked SPECIFICITY
So moving forwards into this last 90-day block of 2018
I can have confidence in what I HAVE achieved… And build on it
And I can work on what I DIDN’T achieve… And make sure I do what I need to do
But what if you don’t KNOW what you need to do?
What if you haven’t IDENTIFIED where things have been lacking?
