Where everyone is an athlete…

Why is it so hard to get going?

Getting started is by far the biggest obstacle…

“I don’t like people watching me work out”

“I don’t have enough time”

“I don’t have enough money”

“I don’t feel fit enough to start training yet”

“I’ve got a niggle I want to sort out first”

“I’ll start up after the school holiday”

There are hundreds of reasons I’ve heard before about not taking the plunge and getting some good quality training done

And generally they are all due to fear, anxiety and being overwhelmed

(But we don’t like admitting that, do we?)

I’m sure we’ve all had some sort of experience like starting an assignment or filling out an application form or even going to the gym where it takes you a while to get started…

You put it off for as long as possible but once you start you can’t stop…

And then you wonder what all the fuss was about and why you put it off for so long in the first place

(I’m guilty of this too. I was meant to write this blog post last week!)

But…Once you’re past this first step you can start enjoying things

(Especially if you’re training because you start seeing results!)

That’s why sometimes it’s imperative that you get an expert to help you out

So here’s something to think about…

Ask yourself:

1) What is holding you back from getting started with your training today?

2) Are you doing what you need to be doing to hit your goals?

3) Are you simply doing what you’ve always done before?

4) Are you going in blind and guessing what’s going to help you?
