Where everyone is an athlete…

“Cannot bloody walk…”

“..But the smile can be seen from space!”

That’s the message I was sent today

And I’m over the moon with it!

Sarah just smashed the Barcelona Ironman today!

(She finished in the top 25 in her division!)

In the 12 hours 5 minutes and 4 seconds in which I didn’t do a lot…

She swam 3.8km

Cycled 180km

Then ran 42.2km

But to think only 16 months ago she’d had multiple scans, x-rays and assessments on her spine

All to try and get to the bottom of the agonising pain she’d been suffering for years

And now she’s only gone and smashed out another Ironman

It’s amazing!

And she’s attributed this to strength training before…

And after today she’s already singing it’s praises again…

“You made this happen- Bloody brilliant- Thank you!!”

But in fact it was her who made it happen because she did the work she needed to

Can you do the work you need to?
