Cramps & Chafing…

What a great experience and I take my hat off to everyone who’s completed the 26.2 mile challenge that is a marathon.

This time around I didn’t get the specific time I trained so hard for (see last 12k times below)… But I got the result (see my growing medal collection below after 3:51:33 in 2010!!!)

When it comes to training for a result/outcome things can be similar to my marathon on Sunday…

The journey can sometimes be a little slow to get started…

Certain things can initially hold you back (like 38,000 other runners trying to move at the same time)…

But on the flip-side you are moving forwards and getting somewhere

The journey might speed up or slow down (due to obstacles on your route such as a central reservations)…

But again you’re still maintaining steps in the right direction

Some parts of the journey are easy and you’ll pick up speed (like going downhill)…

Other parts are tough and you’ll have to push that little harder (like going uphill)…

But you’re still on the move!
