What this allows us to do is put a timeframe on things which in turn allow us to measure progress

And after reflecting on 2016 during New Year’s it’s not uncommon to set a target for the impending year ahead

 

More often than not these target are health and fitness based

 

But time after time people fail with these goals because they get overwhelmed

 

“The fear of the pain of changing is greater than the pain of staying the same”

 

And basically nothing happens for another 12 months and you start the next year in a worse state of mind than you did the year before

 

So if we know that 12 month targets are often overwhelming and quite honestly frighten the life out of us…

I won’t lie… This is something I battle on a day-to-day basis

 

I have big ideas

 

I make big plans

 

But I often fail to take action

 

So I’m in the process of making a change in how I go about things and it’s working a treat
