Has someone just slammed “The Body Coach” Joe Wicks?

Apart from sharing the same first name…

I’ll let you decide who’s more charismatic and better looking

But Joe Wicks is killing it at the moment

He’s shaping up people and educating everyone about eating proper food for fat loss

(Even I bought all 3 of his books at Xmas for my close family)

But there’s been a wee bit of backlash online after a nutritionist pulled Joe up on one of his recipes…

Yes it’s all been kicking off as a result of this article

I love Joe’s recipes almost as much as I love his hair

But I had to bring this point up earlier this week to one of my clients who’s following his meal plan…

It isn’t a ONE SIZE FITS ALL programme

The nutritionist in the linked article has highlighted an extremely important point about calories

And although Joe’s meal is perfect in terms of macros (carbohydrate, protein and fat ratios)…

You can’t expect everyone to be able to eat that portion size and lose weight

Like I e-mailed you about last week…

You need to burn more calories than you’re taking in to lose weight… But you also need to take in enough correct calories to ensure you’re stripping fat and keeping muscle.

So for you to be able to see you’re on the correct path… You need to measure and track

Not obsessively… But if you’re not measuring how do you know you’re improving?

And that’s why I don’t run cookie cutter training packages
