But Clarin Sports have now shed light on the situation by claiming that the 34-year-old striker tore his soleus muscle during a kickabout behind bars

 

Tevez was visiting his half-brother Juan Alberto Martinez who’s currently serving 16 years for a botched armed robbery at a maximum security prison in Cordoba, Argentina

 

I’m sure it was a good bit of fun at the time for Carlos but he might be regretting it a little bit now

 

Especially as his team are currently top of the league and aiming to win the Argentinian championship for the second season on the trot

 

This is an example of when a bit of fun can knock you off track from what you’re trying to achieve
