Where everyone is an athlete…

What’s your mindset like?

I was doing some work with my coach earlier today…

(Yes you read that correctly… I’m a coach and I have my own coach to help me with the stuff I need help with)

And he came out with this banger of a quote:

“Mindset is a set of beliefs and assumptions that you own, that are so powerful, your behaviour conforms to them”

Deep isn’t it!

But have a think about it

People have beliefs in all sorts of things and do live their lives by them

Religion. Politics. You name it

But what often gets ignored are some of the beliefs we don’t like thinking or talking about…

“I’ll never be skinny”

or

“I can’t build muscle”

or

“I don’t have time to train”

or

“I like my food too much to be able to get in shape”

I know I’m guilty of saying all of these (and definitely believing the second one!)
